Vegetable Samosas


  • 12 Lilas Thick Fillo Dough Wrappers
  • 3 potatoes, peeled
  • 3 carrots, peeled
  • ¾ cup peas
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon each – cumin, cardamom, turmeric, chilli pepper, salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • splash hot sauce
  • cooking spray


  1. Boil potatoes and carrots until tender, drain and mash lightly.
  2. Add peas to potato and carrot mash, set aside to cool.
  3. Heat pan on medium heat, add oil, garlic and spices and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add spices to vegetables and mix well. 
  5. Preheat oven to 400oF.
  6. Remove 1 Lilas Fillo Dough Wrapper and spray with cooking spray. Place a large spoonful of vegetable mixture into corner and fold into a triangle. Continue with other wrappers and filling.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and spray all samosas with more cooking spray.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning once.
  9. Serve with chutney of your choice.
