- ½ lb minced pork
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small red bell pepper, cut in thin slices
- 4 green onions, chopped
- ¼ lb bean sprouts
- 6 lettuce leaves, shredded
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 1 lb Lilas Thick Fillo Dough Wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil, add pork and cook until no longer pink. Add peppers and onions, cook 3 minutes. Stir in bean sprouts, lettuce and cornstarch and water mixture.
- Stir in soy sauce and sugar. Cool.
- Place 2 tablespoons of filling at one corner of Lilas Fillo Dough Wrapper. Fold end over filling, tuck sides and roll up. Add water to seal.
- Heat oil to 350oF, add spring rolls, a few at a time and cook until golden.
