- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup crumbled Greek Feta
- 1 small onion grated
- ½ cup freshly chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 cup canola oil
- 12 Thick Fillo Dough Wrappers
- Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
- Place 2 tablespoons of mixture on bottom third of Thick Fillo Dough Wrapper, keeping ½ inch on both sides.
- Fold top of Thick Fillo Dough Wrapper tightly over filling and then fold in both sides.
- Roll up filling to bottom of Thick Fillo Dough Wrapper and add warm water with fingers to seal.
- Heat oil to 350F and fry cigars, a few at a time, until golden, turning once.
